The WeAssist system was presented at the SAMTIT Congress in Malmö, Sweden, in early May. The joint team from TENTE and LINAK demonstrated how intelligent assistance can make patient transport in everyday clinical practice easier. More than 1,300 participants from medical technology, IT, nursing, hospital management, and industry had the opportunity to experience the solution firsthand.
Intelligent support for patient transport
How can modern medical technology make everyday hospital work easier in practical terms?
WeAssist provides a clear answer.
The system, a motorized wheel, actively supports healthcare professionals in moving hospital beds by reducing the effort required for starting, maneuvering, and braking. As a result, transport becomes not only noticeably more ergonomic, but also more controlled and safer. Especially in environments with frequent patient transport, WeAssist helps to sustainably reduce physical strain and streamline workflows.
Strong response from practice
For many visitors, experiencing the system firsthand was key. The opportunity to test WeAssist made its impact immediately tangible and resulted in consistently positive feedback.
Discussions with users, OEMs, and decision-makers highlighted the strong demand for solutions that provide real support in daily clinical routines. WeAssist clearly addresses this need—offering a practical system that combines ergonomics, efficiency, and ease of use.
